Perfumes that instill sexual desire have been mentioned in ancient texts from the world over. Aphrodisiac perfumes are still extracted today and are valued for their intoxicating and sensual aromas. You can select a single scent or use oils in combination. The sense of smell is one of the most important aspects of sexual attraction – pheromones (our personal scent) do tell!
Here is a list of scents and a short scent description for you to review and maybe give a scent or two a try. (HINT: If you are unsure of what a scent really smells like, go check out your local natural food store and look at the essential oils, you’ll find many of these and you can get an idea of the specific scent.) Remember, a little goes a long way when working with oils – the scent is normally much stronger and lasts longer. And many of these oils are very powerful, so be sure to dilute them before applying to your skin!

One of my favorite uses for perfume oils is to make my own massage oil. All you need to do is put 1 to 2 DROPS of perfume oil in 2-3 ounces of virgin olive oil and stir (I use a toothpick to stir it with) and there you have it…your own perfumed massage oil that you can treat your sweetie with. And, the added extra advantage of the scent reminding them of the wonderful evening for years to come!
