Fresh vegetables are some of the best food you can imagine. Corn, peas, beans, tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, spinach, radishes and more are best when newly harvested. Every year Black Rose Spiritual Center grows an entire garden full of vegetables to donate to the local food bank! (Visit our gofundme fundraiser page now)
As a way to do give back to our local community we hope to continue with our Garden of Giving program when we move to our permanent location in Summer 2015. Since we will be starting from scratch for our Garden of Giving plat, we need everything from top soil to fencing, pitchforks, bean trellises, and so much more. In the last two years our Garden of Giving program has resulted in the donation of over 1,500 pounds of fresh produce to our local food bank. (Visit our gofundme fundraiser page now)
